"(...) The new Revox B77 MK III is far more than a mere reissue of the popular MK II. Although its almost indestructible mechanics have been adopted one-to-one – there was simply no reason for improvement. Electronically, however, the MK III is a new design. The complete signal path has been revised, all sound-influencing capacitors have been removed. The tape heads and pinch roller are not only new but also technically significantly higher quality. And for the first time, the tape machine is designed to be fully balanced – with corresponding XLR inputs and outputs, which have also proven themselves in professional studio environments.

The music feels immediate, physical, natural. It doesn't sound spectacular in the sense of artificially polished – it simply sounds "right." And that's exactly what makes the difference."
