For the first time and in close cooperation with the Warner Music Group, these high-quality recordings are being released as direct master tape copies. The Abbey Road Studios in London, England, and Christoph Stickel from Vienna, Austria, bring the listener to the sound engineer's chair at the time of recording with all their expertise.
In its manufactory in Germany, Revox copies the production masters onto perfectly restored Studer A80 tape machines, at 1:1 speed using RTM SM900 and RTM LPR90.
Itzhak Perlman himself is enthusiastic about this project and has released a special edition, limited to 10 copies each, in addition to the standard and studio master tape copies. He has personally signed each of these on the respective tape reels.
